MATCH REPORT : Victory in Australia - where the bloody hell are ya ?

And the hoodoo continues. Victory across the Tasman has once again eluded the Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel, losing 36-53 to the Adelaide Thunderbirds last Sunday.
A 19-5 fourth quarter hiding marred an otherwise gallant effort from the Steel, who remained in touch 11-12, 23-24 and 31-34 after each spell.
With the ANZ Championship now in its third season, the Steel remain winless on Aussie soil – a fact not lost on captain Megan Dehn.
"It's bloody frustrating and disappointing," she said after the game. "It's terrible and everyone feels like crap."But you can't dwell on it because you've got a game just as hard next week."

PLAYER PROFILE : Julianna Naoupu
She seemingly has nerves of Steel, but shooter Julianna Naoupu insists the calm exterior she exudes on court simply masks the fear sometimes raging inside.
Impressive performances recently have thrust Naoupu into the spotlight and cemented her place among New Zealand's most promising young attackers.
After two years as understudy to the Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel's more senior shooters, Naoupu is determined to snatch any opportunity to shine this year – demonstrated with a dynamic display against the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic last month.
Taking on Silver Ferns captain Casey Williams was a daunting task, but one Naoupu tackled admirably.
