I do love a good sporting cliché. In fact, when it comes to self motivation, there is nothing that gets my blood pumping more than a screaming monologue full of cheesy quotes and life saving messages from past, present and future heroes. It must be the parochial Australian in me. So this week when I look at the last two performances for the Southern Steel and ready myself to turn our form around against the Northern Mystics on Sunday, the quote book is out and in full force. We need to be motivated.
