It’s hard to believe another Super Sunday has rolled around again. The 2019 ANZ Premiership seems to be flying past.

While the result didn’t quite go to plan from our perspective, round five’s tussle with the Pulse was an absolute cracker.

It always makes me proud when netball is showcased to its full potential by a game full of action, physical battles and skill displayed by both sides.

This weekend we are set for a re-match against the Magic. We dominated proceedings during our last encounter but are smart enough to know history doesn’t always repeat.

We treat every game with a clean slate and know the Magic will come out firing to secure vital points on the table. We are going to have to be disciplined and controlled as we execute our game plan.

I’m predicting a showdown of the defensive units - there’s certainly a heap of experience at either end of the court given the season count Casey Kopua and I have now managed to clock up!

In the midcourt, expect a battle royale to emerge with our Gina against Sam Sinclair which will definitely be worth watching!

Tune in live to Sky Sport from 6pm or, if you want an afternoon of netball, the other Super Sunday games kick off at 2pm (Pulse v Tactix) and 4pm (Mystics v Stars).

Cheers,

Te Huinga
