• The Steel and Pulse have met 30 times since 2008 with Steel winning 18, the Pulse 11 and there has been one draw. The Pulse has won three of the past four meetings between the teams.
• Tiana Metuarau (Pulse) played her 50th ANZ Premiership match in Round 4 against the Magic. Metuarau at 19 years of age is the youngest player in national league history to reach the 50-match milestone.

• The Steel lead head-to-head with eight wins and the Stars three.
• The Stars are coming off a 46-all draw with the Magic in Round 4. This is the first time an ANZ Premiership match has finished a draw.
• The Stars were also part of the only ANZ Premiership match decided in extra time in 2018 which they eventually lost 60-61 to the Tactix.
