Here's a great competition for kids (and BIG KIDS!) at the Steel vs Swifts game - 4th July.
The Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel are supporting the KidsCan StandTall Charitable Trust - a charity that provides food, raincoats and shoes to low decile schools in New Zealand.
Our Southern region has three schools on the programme and we need more! 8,500 children in New Zealand go without breakfast (and sometimes lunch), many families cannot afford raincoats or shoes - so children go to school hungry, wet and cold.

Now the Southern Steel are running a kids banner competition for our last home game agains the Swifts in Invercargill on Saturday 4th July, to raise awareness for under privileged children in our own backyard.

This is our last home game of the season so its your BIG CHANCE to make some serious noise and show your support for your home team. Get your game face on and make up a banner showing your support for the Southern Steel to wave in the crowd. Our judges will pick the very best from the crowd during the game and the winning banner will
